coterium.com is operated by Coterium, an IT services company based in Accra, Ghana. You can reach us at info@coterium.com.

By visiting this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site. We have kept them as short as the subject allows, and we have not hidden anything important in the closing paragraphs.

• “We”, “us” and “our” mean Coterium.
• “You” means anyone visiting or using this site, and any organisation you are acting for.
• “The site” means coterium.com and every page, file and form served from it.
• “Content” means the text, images, layout, design, code and other material that make up the site.
• “An engagement” means paid work we agree to carry out for you under a signed agreement.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. If you are using the site for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

This site describes who Coterium is, what we do, and how to reach us. It is informational. Nothing on it is an offer, a quote, a warranty, or a commitment to deliver any particular service, timeline, price or outcome. Descriptions of our services, our process and the technologies we work with are illustrations of how we usually work, not terms you can hold us to.

Nothing on this site is professional, technical, legal, financial or security advice, and you should not act on it as though it were. Your situation has details this site cannot know about.

Sending us a message does not make you a client of Coterium. No client relationship, retainer or duty of care arises from your reading this site, submitting the contact form, or exchanging early correspondence with us. An engagement begins only when both of us sign a written agreement covering it.

You may view the site, and print or download extracts, for your own information or for evaluating whether to work with us. That permission is personal to you, non-exclusive, and revocable. It does not transfer any ownership, and it ends if you breach these terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the contact form to send unsolicited advertising, bulk messages, malicious content, or anything unlawful, deceptive, defamatory or infringing.
• Submit the form more than five times in ten minutes, or work around the limit that enforces this, or automate submissions in any way.
• Interfere with the measures that protect the form, including the hidden field used to detect automated scripts.
• Scrape, crawl, harvest or systematically copy the site or its content, or use it to train a model, without our written permission.
• Probe, scan or test the security of the site or the systems behind it, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of them.
• Attempt to disrupt or overload the site, or introduce anything harmful to it or to other visitors.
• Copy, republish or redistribute substantial parts of the site for commercial purposes without our written permission.
• Misrepresent your identity or your relationship with Coterium, including presenting yourself as a client, partner or representative.

If you believe you have found a security problem with this site, we would genuinely like to hear about it. Email info@coterium.com with the details rather than testing the boundaries of the paragraph above.

Please do not send confidential or commercially sensitive information through the contact form — email us and we will agree a suitable way to share it, under a confidentiality agreement if that is what the material needs.

You keep ownership of whatever you send us. You give us permission to read it, store it and use it for the purpose of responding to you and assessing whether we can help, as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that what you send is yours to send and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

If you send us an unsolicited idea, proposal or concept, we are under no obligation of confidence about it and no obligation to compensate you for it. We may already be working on something similar. This is a practical reality of running an open contact form, not a claim on your ideas.

The Coterium name, logo, written copy, layout and design on this site belong to us unless stated otherwise, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law.

Third-party names, logos and trade marks shown on this site — including the technologies we work with and the partners we name — remain the property of their respective owners. The technology logos are used under the licence of the open source icon set they come from. Their appearance here identifies what we work with; it does not imply that those owners endorse, sponsor or are affiliated with Coterium.

This site links to third-party websites, including our own profiles on social platforms and the sites of the partners and team members we name. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, their availability, or their handling of your data. A link is not an endorsement, and once you leave this site, these terms stop applying and theirs begin.

We try to keep the information on this site current and correct, but we make no warranty that it is complete, accurate or up to date. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time, without notice, and we do not guarantee that it will always be available or error-free. Nothing here amounts to a service level commitment.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions and representations that are not expressly set out in these terms, whether implied by statute, common law or otherwise, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coterium is not liable for any loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, loss or corruption of data, or any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of this site, your reliance on anything published on it, or your inability to use it.

Our total liability to you in connection with the site and these terms is limited to one hundred Ghana cedis (GHS 100). This reflects that the site is free to use and informational, and that any paid work between us is governed by a separate agreement with its own liability terms.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. If you deal with us as a consumer, these terms do not affect the rights the law gives you that cannot be waived by agreement.

If you breach these terms and a third party brings a claim against us as a result, you agree to cover the reasonable losses, damages and legal costs we incur in dealing with it. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and will not settle it without consulting you.

Anything you send us through the contact form is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, which also explains the cookies this site uses and how to change your mind about them.

We may restrict or block access from any source that abuses the contact form, breaches the acceptable use section, or threatens the security or availability of the site. Where it is practical and appropriate to do so, we will tell you why. You may stop using the site at any time; the sections on intellectual property, liability, indemnity and governing law continue to apply afterwards.

If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, trade mark or other rights, email info@coterium.com with enough detail for us to find it: the page it appears on, what the material is, what right you hold, and how to reach you. We will review it promptly and remove or correct anything we should not be publishing.

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or your use of the site, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.

If a dispute arises, we both agree to try to resolve it in good faith first: write to us, and we will respond and attempt to settle the matter within 30 days. If that fails, the dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country, or of the right to bring proceedings there where the law gives you that right.

• Entire agreement — these terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about your use of the site.
• Severability — if any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
• No waiver — if we do not enforce a term immediately, we do not lose the right to enforce it later.
• Assignment — you may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a successor to our business.
• No third-party rights — nobody other than you and us may enforce these terms.
• Events beyond our control — we are not liable for failures caused by events we cannot reasonably control, including outages at our hosting or email providers, network failures, and acts of government.
• Notices — write to us at info@coterium.com. We will contact you at the address you gave us.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms, so it is worth a glance at the date if you have not visited in a while.
